Ambassador Arman Israelian, Head of Armenian Mission to NATO met with Ambassador Matthew Whitaker, U.S. Permanent Representative on the North Atlantic Council to present Armenia’s perspectives on recent regional developments in the run up to NATO Summit in Ankara and to brief on the outcome of Armenian parliamentary elections.

He specifically highlighted the US role in promoting stability and regional connectivity, presented the details of US Vice-President JD Vance visit to Armenia and the outcomes of Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Secretary of State Marko Rubio last meeting in Yerevan.

The sides discussed the Armenia–NATO partnership, TRIPP project, and broader efforts to strengthen Armenia’s resilience and boost connectivity.

Ambassador Israelian congratulated his counterpart on 250th anniversary of US independence and praised the excellent organization of the reception in Brussels.
